The next step of the FAD inquiry is for the ACCC to commence extensive consultations on the fixed line services FADs with the release of a discussion paper on price terms, followed by a draft decision. To allow sufficient time for this consultation, it will also be necessary for the ACCC to extend the period for making the FADs beyond 11 July 2014.
The ACCC expects to release a discussion paper on the FAD around mid-July 2014. If you would like to be informed as to when public consultation will commence contact fixedservices@accc.gov.au to be placed on our mailing list.
