On 2 May 2019 the ACCC released a draft report for the mobile terminating access service (MTAS) declaration inquiry. The ACCC proposed to continue the declaration of voice MTAS for a further five years and remove the declaration of SMS MTAS.
Submissions in response to the draft report closed on 31 May 2019. The ACCC received submissions from twenty-eight stakeholders. Twenty-four of these stakeholders submitted responses that contained commercial-in-confidence information.
