The ACCC has released a position and consultation paper for the MTAS final access determination. This paper sets out the ACCC's position to adopt an international benchmarking approach in determining the regulated price for the MTAS and the proposed approach to the international benchmarking exercise.
The ACCC has engaged Analysys Mason to undertake the international benchmarking exercise for the purpose of informing the ACCC's consideration of the price terms for the new MTAS final access determination. Analysys Mason's draft methodology report is available.
The ACCC sought stakeholder views on the proposed approach to the international benchmarking exercise. Submissions closed on 7 February 2020.
