In February 2019 the ACCC published its proposed framework for the consistent reporting of gas reserves and resources information. The ACCC invited interested stakeholders to submit their views on the proposed framework.
The consultation period has now closed. Seventeen stakeholders submitted responses to the consultation. These responses are published below.
The ACCC developed the proposed framework in order to progress Transparency recommendations made jointly with the Gas Market Reform Group (GMRG) to the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Energy Council in December 2018.
Following the stakeholder consultation, the ACCC published its finalised recommended framework Further transparency recommendations.
