Discussion paper21 Nov 2018

The ACCC released a discussion paper on 21 November 2018 seeking feedback on:

  • the analytical framework for monitoring, including the expectations of market outcomes and participant behaviour
  • the measures we use to monitor
  • monitoring the impact of policy developments
  • the process and timing for the collection of information.

Submissions to the Discussion Paper closed on 19 December 2018.

Confidentiality

Broadly speaking, the inquiry is a public process and written feedback will be posted on the ACCC website.

The ACCC can accept a claim of confidentiality from the party if the disclosure of information would damage their competitive position. Further information is contained in the discussion paper.
