The ACCC regulates access to telecommunications under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the Act). The aim of the access provisions in the Act is to ensure that consumers are able to connect with different networks and benefit from competition in the market. The ACCC helps to keep mobile phone services competitive and the prices of mobile calls low by regulating mobile termination.
