Deferral of disconnections in the holiday period17 Dec 2020
On 7 December 2020 Telstra wrote to the ACCC requesting forbearance in relation to product exit of private payphone services.
The ACCC agreed to Telstra’s request on 16 December 2020 on the condition that Telstra submits a formal variation to the Migration Plan as soon as practical. The ACCC will consider the variation in accordance with the Migration Plan principles and consult publicly when Telstra submits the proposed variation.
On 10 December 2020 Telstra wrote to the ACCC requesting forbearance regarding the deferral of Migration Plan disconnection arrangements and related activities for disconnection Wave 77b during the 2020–21 Christmas and New Year holiday period.
The ACCC agreed to Telstra’s request on 11 December 2020 in lieu of arrangements under the Migration Plan.
