On 22 April 2009 the ACCC decided to reject the Undertaking. The ACCC released a final decision to reject this Telstra & ULLS Undertaking on 28 April 2009.

Telstra - Unconditioned local loop service monthly charge undertaking 2005 Communications Access undertaking Finalised
2005

In December 2005 Telstra submitted two unconditioned local loop service (ULLS) undertakings. The undertakings set out how Telstra proposed to meet its standard access obligations to supply the ULLS for the period from 1 January 2006 to 30 June 2007 and from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008 respectively.

The undertakings related to the monthly charge Telstra proposed to charge for the ULLS.

The ACCC released Telstra's undertakings on 16 January 2006.

The ACCC released its final decision to reject the undertakings in August 2006.

On 19 November 2013, NBN Co Ltd lodged a varied special access undertaking (SAU) with the ACCC.

On 10 March 2008, FANOC formally advised that it was withdrawing the Special Access Undertaking.

NBN Co SAU variation 2017 Communications Access undertaking Finalised

On 22 June 2017, NBN Co formally withdrew its original SAU variation lodged with the ACCC on 27 May 2016. NBN Co simultaneously lodged a new proposed variation to its SAU (revised SAU variation).

On 2 August 2017, the ACCC released a consultation paper on the revised SAU variation.

On 25 January 2018, the ACCC extended its decision making period in respect of NBN Co’s proposed SAU variation.

In September 2003 Telstra lodged an access undertaking with the ACCC specifying the terms and conditions upon which it undertakes to meet its standard access obligations to supply the line sharing service (LSS). The terms and conditions primarily relate to the pricing of the LSS and not to other matters of supply. The undertakings include service descriptions and a price list specifying Telstra’s proposed charges for the service outlined in the service description.

The ACCC released a discussion paper on Telstra's access undertaking for the LSS in December 2003.

December 2020 variation of the 2011 Hunter Valley Coal Network Access Undertaking Rail Access undertaking Withdrawn

On 23 December 2020, the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) applied to the ACCC to vary the Hunter Valley Coal Network Access Undertaking. On 30 March 2021, ARTC withdrew its 23 December 2020 variation application and submitted a new variation application.

TPG joint functional separation undertaking Communications Access undertaking Finalised

On 8 November 2021, TPG submitted a joint functional separation undertaking to the ACCC on behalf of itself and various subsidiaries in accordance with section 151C of the Telecommunications Act 1997. On 7 April 2022, the ACCC accepted TPG's joint functional separation undertaking which will come into force on 7 October 2022.

Following consultation and analysis the undertaking was rejected and a final report outlining the decision was issued in July 2000.

Interstate Rail Access Undertaking 2018 Rail Access undertaking Withdrawn

On 2 March 2018, ARTC lodged a replacement undertaking for the interstate rail network. This undertaking is to replace ARTC's 2008 undertaking, which expires 31 August 2018. The access undertaking covers the terms and conditions of access for parties seeking to run trains on the mainline standard gauge rail track owned or leased by ARTC.

On 16 February 2007 Optus lodged an ordinary access undertaking (Optus 2007 Undertaking) with the ACCC about the mobile terminating access service (MTAS).
