Undertakings given, without admission, include the sale of large oil terminals and distributorships to independents, and the sale of distribution depots and country retail sites.

The companies undertook to supply to independent wholesalers, distributors and retailers, and to release restrictive covenants on former independents who have left the industry.

They also undertook not to place restrictions on any surplus retail sites and depots, to guarantee direct terminal access by independents with supply agreements, and to honour all existing supply agreements.
