Signal, through Digital Discount Centre, promoted a mobile phone package. In addition to not stating the full cash price of the package, they made representations as to free access to voicemail and an Australia wide flat rate contravening sections 52, 53(e) and 53C of the TPA. Digital Discount undertakes to send a letter of apology, facilitate and assist Signal to inform affected customers, within 3 months deliver a details of evidence of this action, develop a compliance program, implemented within 3 months of approval from the ACCC.
