Allfire Systems Pty Ltd and Mr Allen were involved in litigation by the ACCC relating to price-fixing and market sharing conduct in the Queensland Fire Protection industry in breach of sections 45(2)(a)(ii) and 45(2)(b)(ii) of the Act. Mr Allen has agreed to undertake appropriate trade practices training as approved by the ACCC, to prevent future contraventions of the Act by company officers, employees or agents. Mr Allen will use his best endeavours to ensure the company can meet its obligation to pay its pecuniary penalty.
