Linfox Armaguard Pty Ltd and Prosegur Australia Holdings Pty Ltd proposed merger

The ACCC has accepted a court enforceable undertaking from Linfox Armaguard Pty Ltd (Armaguard) and Prosegur Australia Holdings Pty Limited (Prosegur) pursuant to s 87B of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (CCA). On 27 September 2022, the ACCC received an application for merger authorisation from Armaguard and Prosegur to combine their cash distribution and management, device monitoring and maintenance and ATM businesses in Australia (the Proposed Transaction).

Each of Armaguard and Prosegur undertakes that it will not complete the Proposed Transaction the subject of the application for merger authorisation while the application is being considered by the ACCC. The ACCC accepted the undertaking on 7 October 2022.
