- the national market for the supply of CRS and related services; and
- the national market for the supply of online travel services.

Competition analysis

The Proposed Acquisition represents a mere transfer of ownership and is therefore likely to have a minimal impact on the existing level of competition in the relevant markets. Further, issues of vertical integration do not appear to raise concerns because Tiger Airways is a minor participant in Australia's aviation industry.

Accordingly, on 11 January 2006, the ACCC formed the view that the proposed acquisition is unlikely to substantially lessen competition in the relevant markets.
