Market definition
The ACCC considered the acquisition in the context of global markets for Unmanned Aerial Systems classified according to the size, endurance and altitude of system capabilities. It was not necessary for the ACCC to reach a conclusive view on market definition as the outcome of the competition assessment would not have been affected.Competition analysis
The ACCC formed the view that the acquisition was unlikely to substantially lessen competition due to the lack of direct competitive overlap in the parties' supply of unmanned aerial systems and the alternative competitors that would be likely to constrain the merged firm.
