South Pacific Laundry (SPL) proposed to acquire Spotless Laundries.

SPL is a subsidiary of private equity firm Anchorage Capital Partners. Spotless Laundries is the laundries services business of Spotless Group Holdings Limited, which is wholly owned by Downer EDI Limited. 

Both parties are active in the commercial laundry services industry in Australia.
