Target(s)
- Devine Limited
Competition analysis
The ACCC considered that the proposed acquisition would be unlikely to substantially lessen competition in any relevant market or markets. In particular, the ACCC took into account the limited overlap between the business operations of the parties. Devine is primarily involved in the residential development business while Leighton's main focus has been non-residential property development. The ACCC also noted the existence of other competitors in the relevant sectors.Timeline
