Summary
On 24 June 2024, Cleanaway Waste Management Limited (Cleanaway) announced that it proposes to acquire, by way of a Business Sale Agreement, the waste and recycling business of Citywide Service Solutions Pty Ltd (Citywide Waste). Cleanaway also proposes to acquire a lease to operate the waste transfer station located at 391-395 Dynon Road in West Melbourne.
Cleanaway is an ASX-listed company (ASX:CWY) that provides waste management and industrial services across Australia. This includes the supply of waste management services to municipal councils, and commercial and industrial customers. Cleanaway owns and/or operates a number of waste disposal and processing facilities in Melbourne, including six transfer stations, two material recovery facilities, an organics processing facility and a landfill.
Citywide Waste provides waste management services in Melbourne to municipal councils, and commercial and industrial customers. Citywide Waste also operates the Dynon Road transfer station.

Submissions are invited from interested parties regarding Cleanaway’s proposed acquisition of Citywide Waste by 4pm on 26 August 2024.
