About this register
This register contains a record of all public informal merger reviews that are currently under consideration or have been completed.
Each entry includes indicative timelines and a summary of the transaction and the outcome of the ACCC’s review. There is also a register of statements of issues and public competition assessments.
The informal merger review process allows merger parties to seek our view on whether a proposed merger or acquisition is likely to substantially lessen competition.
From 1 January 2026, it will no longer be possible to apply for informal review. Learn about the merger control regime for notifying and assessing acquisitions.
