About mergers and acquisitions registers
These registers contain information about mergers and acquisitions considered by the ACCC.
The ACCC assesses mergers and acquisitions to determine if they are likely to substantially lessen competition.
From 1 January 2026, the mandatory merger control regime is in effect. Businesses must notify proposed acquisitions which meet certain thresholds and are not otherwise exempt.
It is no longer possible to seek an informal merger review or apply for merger authorisation.

This register is a public record of all notified acquisitions under the merger control regime from July 2025 that are currently being considered or completed.
