Exemption for Bank of Queensland Limited

On 25 November 2025, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption to Bank of Queensland Limited (BOQ) under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) from certain obligations under the Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 (CDR Rules) arising where a data sharing consent and/or authorisation under the CDR Rules is in force in respect of BOQ-issued products held by CDR consumers who also hold a BOQ or Virgin Money Australia branded credit card, until 29 November 2025.
