Exemption for Newcastle Permanent Building Society Limited

On 20 October 2022, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Newcastle Permanent Building Society Limited in relation to its consumer data sharing obligations for Business+ Credit Card accounts held by sole traders. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from Newcastle Permanent.
