Exemption for Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited

On 1 July 2021, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ), permanently exempting ANZ from its obligations to share product data and consumer data in relation to the multi‑currency pre-paid credit cards that were sold by ANZ and issued by Wirecard Australia Pty Ltd. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from ANZ.
