Exemption for Arab Bank Australia Limited

On 11 August 2022, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Arab Bank Australia Limited (Arab Bank) deferring its consumer data sharing obligations in respect of joint accounts and in respect of non-individuals, nominated representatives, partnerships and secondary users until 31 May 2023. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from Arab Bank.
