On 26 February 2021, Lynham Networks (trading as Lightning Broadband) provided written notice to the ACCC electing to be bound by the class exemption under section 143A of the Telecommunications Act 1997.

Exemption for IMB Limited

On 25 February 2021 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to IMB Limited, deferring the commencement date of its Phase 1 consumer data sharing obligations until 1 November 2021.
On 11 February 2021 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Greater Bank Limited (Greater), deferring the commencement dates of its consumer data sharing obligations (all phases) until 1 July 2022.
On 28 January 2021 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Firefighters and Affiliates Credit Co-operative Limited (FCCL), deferring the commencement date of its Phase 2 product reference data obligations until 1 July 2021.

Exemption for Westpac

On 28 January 2021 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac), deferring its consumer data sharing obligations for its asset finance products until 1 June 2021 and its margin loan accounts until 1 February 2022.
On 28 January 2021 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Auswide Bank Limited (Auswide), deferring the commencement date of its Phase 2 product reference data obligations for certain loan products until 1 July 2021.
