On 24 February 2026, pursuant to section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted a time-limited exemption to Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) deferring its consumer data sharing obligations in respect of Suncorp Equipment Finance products until 1 June 2028.

The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from ANZ.
