Summary

Woolworths Limited (Woolworths), along with one of its subsidiaries, Australian Independent Retailers Pty Ltd (AIR), has launched a Woolworths Everyday Money Credit Card. The credit services for the credit card are provided by HSBC.

Woolworths and AIR propose to offer customers the ability to purchase fuel at certain CALTEX Woolworths and CALTEX Safeway co-branded fuel outlets using a pay at the pump facility on condition that the customer pays with their Woolworths Everyday Money Credit Card.

The ACCC issued a draft notice proposing to revoke the notifications lodged by Woolworths and AIR on 29 January 2009 (available under 'ACCC decisions').

Woolworths withdrew the notifications with effect from 3 April 2009. These notifications have been replaced by notifications N93889 & N93890.
