Structural Timber Innovation Company Limited (STIC) proposes to supply two engineered wood products known as laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and glue laminated timber (Glulam) to licensed timber fabricators on the condition that they source LVL or Glulam components from a list of preferred suppliers as nominated by STIC without being required to pay royalties to STIC for the manufacture and sale of LVL or Glulam components. Licencees who source LVL or Glulam components from non-preferred suppliers will be required to pay a royalty of 8% to STIC.
