Summary
Football Queensland requires clubs which participate in FQ Competitions to use only Teamwear from licensed suppliers during those competitions. Teamwear includes tracksuits, playing shirts, playing shorts, playing socks and balls.
The ACCC issued a Final Notice revoking Football Queensland's notification on 15 December 2011. A copy of the ACCC's notice is available by following the links below.
On 5 January 2012, Football Queensland lodged an application for review of the ACCC's decision to revoke the notification with the Australian Competition Tribunal.
On 25 July 2012, Football Queensland withdrew its application for review. The ACCC's decision to revoke the notification stands and as a result the statutory protection afforded by the notification ceases on 25 August 2012.
