Summary
Waverley Council and Woollahra Municipal Council wish to put out a joint tender for a contractor to receive, sort, process, recover and dispose of waste from each of their councils under separate contracts. The waste in question will be delivered to the contractor's facility by each of the council's residential bulky waste services - the contractor will not be required to collect any waste material.
On 23 May 2018 the ACCC stated that it did not object to the notification, allowing it to stand, and determined that it was appropriate for the notification to operate from 4 May 2018 until 31 May 2023.
