Summary
On 4 January 2017 the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy Inc (SACOME), on behalf of the 24 participating members listed above, applied for authorisation to establish a joint electricity purchasing group.
On 13 April 2017 the ACCC issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation in respect of the proposed arrangements for 11 years. A copy of the draft determination is available by following the links below.
On 13 April 2017 the ACCC also granted interim authorisation for the participating members to engage in preparatory conduct whilst the ACCC is considering the substantive application.
On 21 April 2017, SACOME amended their participating members to include a further three companies.
