Summary

An extension to chapter 8 derogations authorised in April 2004 which provide NEMMCO with express powers to manage negative settlement residues and to combine inter and intra-regional limits in the same constraint equations. Further, the changes are designed to allow NEMMCO to dispatch the market consistent with the market objectives. THe current application is a request to extend the sunset clause for 1 year until 31 December 2005.
