Summary
On 30 April 2012 the Lottery Agents Association of Tasmania (LAAT) applied for authorisation to collectively bargain on behalf of its members in respect of the terms and conditions of lottery distribution agent agreements with Tatts Group and Intralot Australia Pty Ltd.
On 24 May 2012 the ACCC issued a draft determination proposing to allow LAAT and its members to collectively bargain with Tatts Group and Intralot for five years.
The ACCC has also granted interim authorisation (subject to some limitations) to enable LAAT to collectively bargain with Tatts Group and Intralot pending the release and outcome of the ACCC's final determination.
On 26 July 2012 the ACCC issued a final determination granting authorisation until 17 August 2017.
