The Homeworkers Code of Practice Committee has applied for the authorisation of the Homeworkers Code of Practice (the Code). The Code is a voluntary self-regulatory scheme and provides for accreditation of parties along the textile, clothing and footwear supply chain to assist in ensuring that homeworkers are employed according to relevant Award conditions.
On 12 December 2005 the ACCC re-authorised the arrangements under the Homeworkers Code of Practice. Authorisation was granted for a period of five years until 3 January 2011.
