Summary
Allianz Australia Insurance Limited, QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited and Insurance Australia Limited (trading as NRMA Insurance) (the Applicants) are applying for revocation of Authorisations A30217-A30218 and substitution with A90997-A90998. The Applicants are parties to an unincorporated joint venture operating through an agent and trading as Community Care Underwriting Agency (CCUA). The joint venture agreement provides for the collective supply by the applicants through the CCUA of public liability insurance through a 'co-insurance pool' to eligible not for profit organisations. The existing authorisations are due to expire on 31 December 2006. Re-authorisation is sought for a further 5 years, subject to some changes to the joint venture agreement.
