ACCC proposes to re-authorise Vision Eye Institute & certain ophthalmologists to discuss & agree fees

The ACCC has issued a draft determination proposing to re-authorise Vision Eye Institute, its employee ophthalmologists and ophthalmologists engaged as contractors at Vision clinics, to continue to discuss, agree and implement fees to be charged to patients for ophthalmology services supplied at Vision clinics.

Under the Competition and Consumer Act, mergers and acquisitions which are likely to substantially lessen competition are against the law.
