The ACCC proposes to re-authorise collective negotiations between AMA NSW and Private Hospital Operators

The ACCC has released a draft determination proposing to grant re- authorisation to the AMA NSW for itself and participating Visiting Medical Officers to collectively negotiate with Private Hospital Operators regarding the terms and conditions (including remuneration) for VMOs engaged to provide medical services to public patients in the New South Wales (NSW) private hospital system as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

ACCC authorises Queensland councils to jointly tender for waste and recyclable collection, bulk haulage and processing services

The ACCC has released a final determination granting authorisation to enable Toowoomba Regional Council and Western Downs Regional Council to jointly prepare and advertise a request for tender (RFT) for waste and recyclables collection, bulk haulage and processing services. Authorisation is granted for three years, until 15 October 2024.
