ACCC grants interim authorisation to northern Queensland councils

The ACCC has granted interim authorisation to Cairns Regional Council, Douglas Shire Council and Mareeba Regional Council to jointly procure waste collection services. Waste collection contracts will not become effective unless the ACCC decides to grant final authorisation.

ACCC grants authorisation to renewable energy joint purchasing group

The ACCC has issued a final determination granting authorisation to Melbourne City Council and 13 other parties to establish a joint renewable energy purchasing group, which they have called the Melbourne Renewable Energy Project.

The ACCC has issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation for five years to Mine Energy Solutions Pty to enter into a master supply Agreement with Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide to acquire a supply of custom made high pressure compressed natural gas cylinder tanks for storage of gas fuel.

The ACCC has issued a determination granting re-authorisation to the Australian Property Institute, on behalf of itself and its current and future members, to make and give effect to clauses in the API Constitution, the API Code of Professional Conduct for Members and associated policies.

The ACCC has issued a determination re-authorising Tabcorp to give effect to an amended agreement with RWWA that will govern its participation in the SuperTAB pool operated by Tabcorp.

ACCC proposes to authorise the St George Region of Councils to continue to jointly contract for waste & recycling collection

The ACCC has issued a draft determination proposing to authorise Hurstville City Council, Kogarah Municipal Council and Rockdale City Council to continue to jointly contract for the provision of waste and recycling collection services in their respective local government areas until 2 February 2023.

ACCC has decided to grant authorisation to CS Energy & Ors to jointly negotiate for coal supply

ACCC has issued a final determination granting authorisation to CS Energy Limited, Callide Energy Pty Ltd, IG Power Limited and Callide Power Management Pty Limited to jointly negotiate with Batchfire Resources Pty Ltd the terms and conditions (including price) for the supply of coal to the Callide B and Callide C power stations in Queensland.
