ACCC authorises W.A.T.A.B Agents’ to engage in collective bargaining & dispute resolution

The ACCC has granted authorisation until 30 January 2024 to the W.A.T.A.B Agents' Association Incorporated. The authorisation will allow the Association to collectively negotiate the terms and conditions of service on behalf of current and future members with Racing and Wagering Western Australia, and to participate in dispute resolution processes between RWWA and agents.

ACCC proposes to re-authorise Australian Paper Clearing System suspension and termination regulations

The ACCC has issued a draft determination proposing to re-authorise the suspension and termination provisions of the Australian Payments Clearing Association’s Australian Paper Clearing System (APCS) regulations. The ACCC proposes to re-authorise the provisions for ten years.

The current Franchising Code will be repealed and replaced with a new Franchising Code of Conduct from 1 January 2015.

ACCC re-authorises arrangements between members of the rediATM network

The ACCC has issued a determination which re-authorises the arrangements between Cuscal Limited and the current and future members of the rediATM network, whereby among other things they agree not to directly charge each other’s cardholders for ATM transactions conducted at rediATMs. Authorisation is granted for ten years.

The ACCC has granted authorisation until 25 December 2019 to Anglo American Services and Jellinbah Group to collectively negotiate terms and conditions for the purchase of tyres for mining vehicles with Transityre B.V.
