At the request of OneSteel and Smorgon, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission today agreed to continue to pause the timeline for its assessment of OneSteel's proposed acquisition of Smorgon.
At the conclusion of this pause, the ACCC will form a new timeline for consideration of the matter, including a new indicative decision date. At that time, an announcement will be made that the new timeline is available on the ACCC website.
