The ACCC will have limited operations during the Christmas and new year period. Our offices in all states and territories will be closed from 12pm on Friday 22 December 2017 until 8:30am on
Tuesday 2 January 2018.
The ACCC Infocentre (1300 302 502) will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The Infocentre will otherwise be open on weekdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Consumers and small businesses who would like to make a report to the Infocentre are encouraged to do using the Infocentre web form.
During the shutdown period, product safety mandatory reports and recall notifications can be made via the Product Safety website.
Applicants wishing to lodge a notification or applications for authorisation should email email@example.com including a covering letter and details of the lodgement fee payment. Authorisations are not validly lodged until the relevant fee has been paid.
Any queries or information in relation to a merger or acquisition (whether or not the ACCC is presently reviewing it) should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applicants wishing to lodge a request under the Freedom of Information Act (1982), should note that the FOI team will assess the validity of new or existing requests when the ACCC office reopens on 2 January 2018.
