September 2025 interim report1 Oct 2025
On 1 October 2025, the ACCC released its 26th interim report of the ACCC's inquiry into gas supply arrangements in Australia. The ACCC continues its focus on the operation of the east coast gas market.
This report provides:
- updated supply-demand outlooks for each quarter of 2026 with a particular focus on Q1
- an update on contracting activity in 2025 for supply years 2026 and 2027
- further observations and insights on the impacts of regulatory changes in 2022–23.
