On 14 October 2019, the Treasurer, the Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, directed the ACCC to conduct an inquiry into home loan pricing. The Treasurer directed the ACCC to provide an interim report by 30 March 2020 and a final report by 30 September 2020.
On 22 May 2020, the Treasurer extended the time for the ACCC’s provision of the final report to 30 November 2020.
