On 10 February 2020 the Australian Government directed the ACCC to conduct an inquiry into markets for the supply of digital advertising technology services and digital advertising agency services.
On 10 March 2020 the ACCC published an issues paper for the inquiry.
On 28 January 2021 the ACCC published its interim report for the inquiry.
The final report was published on 28 September 2021 following the report being provided to the Treasurer.
The ACCC is also conducting a 5-year inquiry into markets for the supply of digital platform services.
