National agencies
National Disability Insurance Agency | Provides information, referrals, individual plans and support under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. |
Responsible for registering providers under the National Disability Insurance Scheme and ensuring that supports are high-quality and safe. Monitors compliance with the NDIS practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct. | |
Aged Care Complaints Commissioner | Resolves concerns about aged care services funded by the Australian Government, including services provided in the home. |
Commonwealth Ombudsman | Investigates complaints from people who believe they have been treated unfairly or unreasonably by an Australian Government agency or an organisation contracted to deliver services on behalf of the government. |
Australian Competition & Consumer Commission |
Provides information about consumer rights. Accepts complaints about businesses that may have breached the Competition & Consumer Act 2010. |

- allows you to make a complaint about a business
- can assist you by identifying the issues in dispute and exploring options to resolve the situation.
