In anticipation of the rollout of the Consumer Data Right in the energy sector, the ACCC has released an energy rules framework consultation paper. The paper explores a number of framework development issues that will need to be resolved to accommodate the Consumer Data Right in the energy sector. We are seeking submissions on our proposed approach to addressing these issues in the rules.
You are invited to examine the energy rules framework consultation paper and comment on it by written submission to the ACCC.
Submissions are due by 5 pm Friday 28 August 2020 and can be lodged through our consultation hub at: Consumer Data Right - Energy rules framework consultation.
We particularly seek comment on the consultation questions posed in our energy rules framework consultation paper. However, you do not need to respond to each individual question and may decide to raise additional issues.
Queries may be directed to ACCC-CDR@accc.gov.au with the subject line 'Energy rules framework'.
