Consumer data right (CDR)

Reporting forms (Rule 9.4)8 May 2020

The ACCC has approved the forms for data holder and accredited data recipient (ADR) reporting for the purposes of rule 9.4 of the Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 (Cth).

CDR participants will be required to submit their reports using the Commission approved Excel spreadsheet form to both the ACCC and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

When submitting reports, we also ask that CDR participants note in the email subject line that the email pertains to a 'data holder report' or 'ADR report'.

Reports are to be submitted within 30 days of the end of each six-month reporting period.

The ACCC has also published additional guidance to assist data holders to complete their first report in relation to product data-related reporting obligations.
