Telstra's Migration Plan

On 14 February 2025, Telstra submitted a request to vary its Structural Separation Undertaking and Migration Plan. The ACCC conducted a 28-day public consultation on the proposed variations which ended on 14 May 2025. We did not receive any submissions.

On 17 June 2025, Telstra lodged an amended version of its variation proposal. In the amended variation, Telstra:

• changed the proposals that were dated to take effect from 1 January 2025 to instead apply from 1 July 2025
• rescinded the proposal to cease providing the ACCC with updated documents forming part of the Separation Compliance Program on an annual basis and
• included a new amendment to clarify that obligations related to training for Part D of the Structural Separation Undertaking no longer apply.
