The Internet Activity Report is prepared biannually and provides information on the number of retail services in operation (SIOs) in terms of access connection and download speed as well as the volume of data downloaded within Australia.
Some figures within previous reports have been revised by record keeping rule respondents in later reports.

December 2019 report
The December 2019 report was first published on 24 April 2020. However, some figures within this report were revised by record keeping rules respondents as part of the data collection for the June 2020 report.

June 2019 report
The June 2019 report was first published on 31 October 2019. However, some figures within this report were revised by record keeping rules respondents as part of the data collection for the December 2019 report.

December 2018 report
The December 2018 report was first published on 14 May 2019. However, some figures within this report were revised by record keeping rules respondents as part of the data collection for the June 2019 report.
The revised figures supplied had the following impact:
Table 1
- DSL has been reduced by 30,000 to 2,415,000. The original figure was 2,445,000.
- Total fixed-line/wired broadband has been reduced by 30,000 to 7,207,000. The original figure was 7,237,000.
Table 2
- ‘Less than 24Mpbs’ has been reduced by 30,000 to 9,584,000 to reflect the decrease in DSL. The original figure was 9,614,000.
- The total number of services in operation (SIO) was reduced by 30,000 to 15,608,000 to reflect the decrease in DSL. The original figure was 15,638,000.
Table 3
- Fixed-line/wired broadband has been reduced by 1,552 TB to 4,599,249 TB. The original figure was 4,600,801 TB.
- Mobile handsets has been increased by 56,087 TB to 380,297 TB. The original figure was 324,210 TB.
- Wireless broadband has been reduced by 41 TB to 136,935 TB. The original figure was 136,976 TB.
- Total data volume has been increased by 54,494 TB to 5,116,481 TB. The original figure was 5,061,987 TB.
