2024 amendments to record keeping rules25 Sep 2024

On 8 August 2024, the ACCC released a consultation paper seeking views on proposed changes to the Internet Activity Record Keeping Rules to update the list of record keepers to reflect the current participants in the market. Stakeholder submissions closed on 30 August 2024.

On 25 September 2024, the ACCC amended the rules to add Starlink Internet Services Pte Ltd as record keeper and introduce the requirement to report on wholesale non-NBN satellite services.
