Expiry in 202117 May 2021
After conducting a review in 2021, the ACCC decided that it would allow the Building Block Model record keeping rule – June 2013 to expire on 30 June 2021. This recognised that the Building Block Model record keeping rule is no longer required for the ACCC’s regulatory functions under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
The Building Block Model record keeping rule and the related Fixed Line Service Model were previously used by the ACCC to determine prices for Telstra’s declared legacy fixed line services.
Further information on the approach to pricing for Telstra’s declared legacy fixed line services can be found on the ACCC website at Fixed line services final access determination inquiry 2018.
